"Poet, composer, singer and guitarist, Andy is a wonderful breath of fresh of fresh air in a somewhat cynical and tumultuous musical world . With his songs adjectively described as “ True Adult Contempory Music”, Andy has been entertaining appreciative audiences in Australia and overseas for over 15 years.

Andy's first recording "Lucretia's Eylandt" 1n 1999  received critical acclaim for it's  haunting depiction of the bloody events surrounding the wreck of the Dutch ship"Batavia" off the West Australian coast more than 350 years ago.The song culminated in a live appearance on the Midday Show with the host Kerry-Anne Kennerley describing Andy as “ A wonderful and exciting new Aussie Talent !”
Andy's second CD titled “Lest We Forget” is a tribute to ANZAC and to those men and women who served in the armed services. "Soldier", one of the songs from the album is popular at Returned Servicemen League Clubs (RSL) around Australia . He has performed this song the last four years at Anzac Ceremonies in Australia where event organisers have said it is the biggest audience reaction they have ever had.

His lastest independently released third CD, Winds of Change is a collection of warm ballads with an emphasis on uplifting harmonies and melodies.

Andy has established a popular following over the years with his works constantly compared with fellow Australian contemporary artist Paul Kelly and international Rock Legend , Neil Young. His voice is unique and gives passion and vitality to his songs. His lyrics are intelligent and  profound , yet innocent and appealing. His music empowers his words. His singing style invokes memories of Cat Stevens and he has been compared with Fergal Sharkey and even Roy Orbison. Andy is currently writing and finalising songs for his 4th Album. He promises it will be worth waiting for!!

Andy has played guitar since a car accident left him temporarily incapacitated before he was 20 years of age. His songwriting prowess followed with his first self penned song 'Rambling Man", a warm and contagious country style song that appeared on his first Album. 'Andy Who" .From there a avalanche of songs and poems have appeared and in recent years two poems were published consecutively  in "The Best Poems and Poets" of 2003 and 2004 by the International Library of Poetry , USA ..The first poem "Soldier" was originally written as a song and appeared on Andy's first CD, "Andy Who". The second published poem titled "The Flame" is now a beautiful and uplifting song that will appear on his new forthcoming Album.

Andy has not lost his passion for performing, with regular performances around Australia as well as in China , Malaysia and Philippines . His songs have received radio play in many countries including Australia , Philippines and Taiwan .
